Annual Report

The Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Report is here.

Victims For Justice (VFJ) continued to strengthen our services and support victims throughout Alaska. In alignment with our strategic plan, we became fully staffed with the addition of a new victim advocate and continued improving our processes to ensure each victim receives compassionate, consistent care every step of the way.

In fiscal year 2026, VFJ provided 4,534 services across 24 Alaska communities, bringing support and advocacy to 233 Alaskans affected by violent crime.

Our Fiscal Year 2026 highlights not only VFJ’s work, but also the vital role you play in making it possible. We invite you to explore the full report and see the impact of your support firsthand.

Our Accountability

Today, Alaska has one of the highest violent crime rates in the nation. Victims for Justice is the only nonprofit organization in Alaska serving victims of crimes other than domestic violence and sexual assault. These crimes include robbery, assault, arson, homicide and many more.

Despite this, we operate on a modest budget comprised of State, Federal and Municipal grants as well as community contributions. Last year approximately $25,982.39 went directly to victims to cover emergency support expenses. Many of the services and supports we provide rely on community contributions and volunteers. Thank you to those who choose to be part of our organization and part of providing vital supports in our community.

Board Meetings are open to the public and are currently held via Teams. Please email info@victimsforjustice.org if you are interested in attending.
